About me
I’m currently (FINALLY!) finishing my PhD with Union Institute and University in Humanities with a focus on late nineteenth and early twentieth century Native American novel as well as the cultural considerations in which they were written. I‘m also interested in the idea of murder in the modernist novel, especially Dostoevsky, as it represents a meditation on the connectedness of all things that happen in a society during the nineteenth century that causes cultural schizophrenia in various populations (Largely those populations that might be considered indigenous). Recently, I have been studying the pragmatic philosophers of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, and their vision for an America that operates on a vision of kindness and caution in dealing with those we might consider opponents. Overall, I have found that everything is connected, and we are neurons that act on the stimulus of the information we glean from our research. In this way what we do impacts the rest of society as a wholistic organism. I find it all quite fascinating!
