Terri Toles Patkin is Professor Emeritus of Communication at Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic, Connecticut, USA. Her research focuses on freedom of expression, popular culture, and the intersection of interpersonal and mediated communication, and spans time frames from prehistoric cave art to social media. She holds the B.A. from Arcadia University, and M.A. and Ph.D. from Cornell University.
